Welcome to FAA 2008

Welcome back to another season of FAA football. Many things have come and gone over the last decade, but believe it or not we will be celebrating our 10th FAA season next year. In what has to be a fantasy football first half of the FAA teams that will take the field in 2008 also suited up in 1999 (Norfolk, Imperial, New York, Honolulu, Tokyo, Mt. Lebo). Hats off to the commish for creating something that we all look forward to each year. I was just telling Dwayne the other day that I think NFL Kickoff is the event that I anticipate more than anything else all year. Once you get our age you are not exactly counting the days down to Christmas and your Birthday normally consists of someone taking away your fatherly responsibilities for one day so you can do nothing. Quite simply the countdown to the FAA draft and the opening weekend of football is the one thing each year that I wish would come faster. Some small group of us will definitely make a Vegas trip this year in November, but we should be ashamed of ourselves if we don’t have something special planned for our 10 year anniversary next season.

On to the games….
